What is Fax ATA?

A Fax ATA is an analog telephone adapter that allows a legacy fax machine designed for analog copper lines to communicate via IP-based networks.  

Why do I need a Fax ATA solution?

The FCC has deregulated the legacy analog lines that many businesses use to support faxing on their dedicated machines and multi-function printers. This means that costs for these lines can increase almost exponentially, and service can be discontinued altogether. A Fax ATA enables businesses to keep their existing devices but move to newer IP lines for fax transmission. 

Is IP fax secure?
